Kidz Bop Revisited.

Okay, so I am back for another round.

Because I was curious to see how horrendous the other covers were. Well there's Linkin Park, and P.O.D covers that should have never been touched. Because I have discovered some other pretty bad gems of Kidzbop. (I heard from a YT comment, so it probably isn't reliable but would have been funny if it did happen) but BJA was rumored to sue Kidz Bop over their horrendous covers. And they have been infamous for ruining Nickelback, ( YES NICKELBACK) songs. So I am going to do one more countdown list with some new dishonorable mentions

WARNING: these covers may cause you to go deaf and kill yourselves.

1. In the End- Linkin Park

I think that this is one of the worst minus from the Green Day and Evanescence covers. Located on KidzBop 3 in the bonus CD. And thank goodness for that. Because that means you'd get that crap cover if you order via phone or online.

2. P.O.D- Alive

Enough said about this one. This is one of very few songs that should not have been touched. Nor should kids be teenyboppin to rock music.

3.Float On- Modest Mouse

Again, another song that is so off; so terribly covered, it's unreal. Though they shouldn't have covered this song in the first place. I wonder if any of the bands and artists that KB covers have acknowledged Razor and Tie stealing songs and bastardizing them, to fit the needs of Republican soccer moms and dads.

4. Photograph- Nickelback

I'll admit it, i like some Nickelback including this track. But KB loves to destroy Nickelback. You should go see the comments on the videos of the KB Nickelback covers provided by UltimateKidzBopFan on Youtube.

5.Lips of an Angel- Hinder

Y'know this is a song about a guy cheating on his main girl for a side chick? Plus another rock song ruined. I'd cheat on KidzBop for Hinder. Also this was a big jam back in the day when I was an 8th-9th grader so...

6. Jesus Take the Wheel- Carrie Underwood

Typically i don't care for the country genre, but this is taking it too far KB! Jesus, let me kms. Seriously I'm going to kms after this.

7. Karma Chameleon- Culture Club

I wonder what Boy George would think of this. #ruined. He would go on a drunken rampage against these morons who thinks that this is a good idea. Also the lyric changes from man to guy, is stupid too. Also this song's synopsis shouldn't be for children either.

8. We're Not Going to Take It- Twisted Sister

Rebellion. #shocked that KidzBop wants to cover this song. But alas they in typical KB fashion they ruin this classic as well.  0/10 for effort.

9. LOL- Sinai Rose/KB

An original track from one of the Kidz Bop stars that were around the Kidzbop 15-18 era, Sinai Rose. A+ for trying to come up with original songs for kidz to listen to, but 0/10 for listenability in terms of how good this actually is.

10. One Time- Justin Bieber

I know I said I really didn't want to cover the likes of Bieber or anything past Kidz Bop 14. Though the original song, is a million times better, and truth be told I actually enjoy this Bieber track; despite hating the rest of his music.

Dishonorable Mentions

1. Uptown Funk- Mark Ronson/ Bruno Mars
2.One Week- Barenaked Ladies
3.She's So High- Tal Bachman
4.Fly Away- Lenny Kravitz
5. Follow Me- Uncle Kracker
6. Drive- Incubus
7. Pinch Me- Barenaked Ladies
8. Hero- Chad Kroeger
9. A New Day Has Come- Celine Dion
10. Invisible- Clay Aiken

List of my Worst Covers By KidzBop!

Yeah, I know KidzBop is for toddlers and kids, yadda yadda yadda, but I grew up with the first few KB's. And man were they shit.

The problem with this is the newer ones weren't as dreadful (painful to the ears) as the older ones, but the songs have gotten so inappropriate it's not even worth mentioning after the 13th installment. By then I was a teenager, young adult and half the songs covered were terrible to begin with.

So without further ado, my top listings for Awful KidzBop covers

   1. All the Small Things- originally by Blink 182
my opinion is that the man's vocals are terrible, and they ruined one of my favorite songs by Blink, and a childhood staple, ugh this cover isn't worth a poop. or my time.

2. Higher- originally by Creed
When you make a Creed song or Creed in general sound like Mozart, then you have a problem.  From the vocals of the Blink 182 man, this one was pretty embarrassing to say the least.

3. Never Let You Go- Third Eye Blind
I'll admit, I've never even knew this cover or the Creed cover existed until today (2.9.15).  But Third Eye Blind is not appropriate at all for children under 13 in my honest opinion.

4. Bring Me to Life- Evanescence
I may be biased on this one, as a diehard Amy Lee and Evanescence Fan.  The vocals in place that covers Paul McCoy's vocals is horrendous. that "rUFF" at around 2:50 is hilarious, but the main vocal isn't bad but still, the children were awful.

5. My Immortal- Evanescence
Not gonna say much, as I am biased.

6. Wake Me Up When September Ends- Green Day
Probably the worst song they ever did, or thought of doing because this was a tribute to Billie Joe Armstrong's dad who passed away from Cancer? when Billie was 10. Pitiful pitiful decision Razor and Tie.

7. When It's Over- Sugar Ray
Once again that asshole from the Blink cover makes an appearance. Sigh. This guy never takes the hint of he's awful. Mark Mcgrath should hear this out of pure comedy. This was one of my favorite Sugar Ray songs of all time, especially when I was in the third/fourth grade. 2001-2002 ish.

8. The Anthem- Good Charlotte
I'm gonna rant for the fact they left out the "shake it once is fine, shake it twice it's okay, shake it three times you're playing with yourself again" part. oops. spoiler. And how Allmusic said this was punk energy for the kids. Wrong. I listened to the original when I was 9.

9. Headstrong- Trapt
Ugh. No words. Why is a harder rock song on a KidzBop CD? very contradicting. and very mismatched.  And the vocals are horrid.

10. Someday- Nickelback
I'm surprised I'm giving praise to Nickelback. But another case of an inappropriate song for kids. The beginning of the song is a perfect example.  I do actually like Nickelback's version in all honesty.

disHONORABLE MENTIONS
1. Toxic - Britney Spears
2. 1985- Bowling For Soup
3.Boulevard of Broken Dreams- Green Day
4. Feel Good Inc.- Gorillaz
5. Pump it- Black Eyed Peas
6. Boston- Augustana
7. The Whole Beatles Tribute Album
8. Party Like a Rockstar- Shop Boyz
9. Starships- Nicki Minaj
10. Tie between Blue- Eiffel 65 and Believe- Cher
